API is judging Starpack Student Awards – effective packaging is in the detail!
The Student Packaging Design Awards is a perfect scheme for students to demonstrate their packaging design skills by producing a pack from one of the briefs provided by Starpack. This award allows students to showcase their talent and demonstrate how to make a pack graphically attractive. In addition the pack needs to meet functional requirements: preserve and protect the contents and be produced cost-effective with due regard to environmental issues.
The judging will take place in Grantham, UK on the 23rd of March. API will be represented by Eric Boinard, Technical Innovation Manager, Andy Kerr, Technical Market Support and Hester McQueen, Marketing Manager who will be members of the judging design panel.
API is a proud sponsor of Starpack Student Awards for 2016 and are looking forward to seeing the next generation of packaging designer specialists from API’s brief provided to Starpack: “Einstein’s Anniversary” Coin Collector’s Presentation Packaging. API is excited to see how students have incorporated API’s and Winter & Company’s materials within their designs.
Effective packaging is in the detail. API’s materials can be added to give an innovative edge to designs. API is hoping to see eye catching and inspiring packaging ideas and designs from the next generation. The event is expected to demonstrate student’s enthusiasm for design and packaging in an industry which is truly inspiring and influential.
The winners will be announced in June 2016, exciting times are ahead, looking forward to congratulating the student packaging designer specialist individuals. Follow @API_Creative on twitter to keep up-to-date with the latest news.
