API’s foil and service has it all boxed up
Brand enhancement specialist API has been given a ringing endorsement after it supplied the foil for The Little Leather Box Company’s latest bespoke presentation Gift Box. Charlotte Carver, designer and founder of the Worcestershire-based company, said she was “delighted” with the metallic foil from API, and also with the level of customer service the company provided.
Charlotte was seeking a specific foil for the logo on her company’s new presentation box, and contacted API on the recommendation of her die supplier. API had exactly the shade she was after – the elegant, pale blue 2268 Topaz – which would prove perfect for her requirements.
The metallic hot stamping foil supplied by API ensures the best, most reflective finish of all coating processes, and is also the most versatile for use on different materials and substrates. For this application, heat and pressure stamped the foil, while the thin layer of metal ensured the brightness and opacity were free from any variability.
Metallic hot stamping foil is one of many brand enhancement products offered by API, which works with its customers to ensure its products meet their precise requirements. With solutions ranging from the latest registered holographic laminates, through to fine detailed and haptic finishes available from its stamping foils, API focuses on ensuring brand owners’ packaging truly stands out.
“API were totally professional and approachable from start to finish,” said Charlotte. “They were very efficient at supplying the Topaz foil so the job could be completed.”
The Little Leather Box Company has more than 30 years’ experience providing customers with high quality presents and luxury, hand-made leather boxes. It offers a range of bespoke presents from different sized leather boxes to cufflinks and playing cards, and prides itself on its high-quality products, exceptional value for money and personalised hand-made service in today’s automated world.
“Until I found API, I was despairing of ever finding the right shade for the foil,” concluded Charlotte. “I looked at other charts, and all of them were wrong. Needless to say, I am delighted with the finished box, of which the API foil is the crowning detail. We would definitely use API again.”
