API’s trends folio to be shown at Gulf Print & Pack 2017
API is leading the way in the creative development of highly visual packaging solutions for brands with the launch in the Middle East of its new API Trends Folio at Gulf Print & Pack in Dubai. The Trends Folio will be exhibited at stand L25, belonging to API’s distributor Printech, on 26th-29th March.
Curated by David Peters, API’s Creative Development Manager, the Folio acts as a source of inspiration for packaging designers, agencies and of course, brand owners. David has over 20 years’ experience within the luxury and packaging sectors, covering design, production and branding across his various roles. He brings his unique insight, along with examples of the latest techniques, to the Trends Folio.
“Many of our team come from design and packaging backgrounds and so we understand how creatives and agencies appreciate a helping hand in regard to identifying the latest trends,” comments David. “Our new API Trends Folio has been designed to inspire, setting out the trends we expect to see within the industry for 2017-18 and providing background and examples to help leave a lasting impression.”
API’s Trends Folio has been designed to be a working document for creatives and will be updated during the year with the latest macro-trends and creative uses of foils, films and laminates as they are launched. It explores four key trends in detail: from Digital, with its contrast of digital and analogue technologies, to the visual detail and proximity within Pause, there is something for brands and clients both new and old.
Gary Evans, API’s newly-appointed Export Sales Manager, will be at the Printech stand at Gulf Print & Pack, working with customers to help find the most effective pack enhancement effects to add value to their brands.
“We are really proud of our Trends Folio and excited for its official Middle East launch at Gulf Print & Pack,” says Gary. “We are inviting visitors to book an individual appointment at the Printech stand so they can hear about the latest trends that empower luxury and premium brands. All visitors will be provided with their own personal copy of the Trends Book to take away.”
