API Group combines style and sustainability for the luxury packaging sector at Luxe Pack New York 2018
Brand empowerment specialist API Group will ensure sustainability is front of shelf for the luxury packaging industry as it takes its innovative Transmet™ solution, which has been shortlisted for the LuxePack in Green, Best in Green Product award, to New York next week! Transmet is API’s class-leading film-free laminate option for paperboard packaging, which has all the benefits of traditional metalized polyester cartonboard laminates, but without the film content, and is recyclable through normal waste streams. Transmet allows brands to reduce their environmental impact without compromising a premium design finish.
In addition to its green credentials, the benefits of Transmet also include a high level of gloss finish and no risk of delamination. It is flexible enough to ‘metalize’ thin paper without curling – making Transmet an effective solution across a wide range of applications.
Using its global network to drive sustainability in the packaging industry, API has already seen a record number of Transmet sales this year.
